Coding in literacy provides the student with the connection to all aspects of their learning environment. In literacy class, students can use coding as a springboard to creative narrative writing and a better understanding of the importance in technical writing. With the Sphero SPRK + robot, students work collaboratively to write code in mathematical and technological terms while also using creative narrative and/or technical writing in classroom coding presentations. Learning to code is an important skill however the communication of your project is essential. Using Google classroom, Goformative and other programs help engage our students and facilitate learning.
